PSALM 119 — aleph — following fully the will of God

Mar 03 2010

I love the promises in the ALEPH section of Psalm 119:

We have the opportunity to be BLAMELESS, SHAMELESS, FEARLESS and able to PRAISE GOD WITH AN UPRIGHT HEART.

Imagine your life where no one, not even God, blames you for anything. Imagine your life without shame or fearing rejection or retribution from God. How great might it be, if we could praise God and acknowledge his goodness with a pure heart.

God has spoken, revealed himself, and taught us his ways. It is our responsibility to seek him with all of our hearts, consider all of his commands, walking in all of his ways.

This was a great challenge to me. What are my desires? Is it to seek God? What am I thinking about? Is it God’s word? What am I working towards? Walking according to his his way or my way?  Thinking about my wanting and thinking and doing has helped me to stay on track and follow fully God’s way.

I want to abnormalize my priorities and the direction of my life.
